A: The iPad Mini 7 (2024 release) supports eSIM on cellular models, in addition to a physical nano-SIM. Earlier models like the iPad Mini 4 did not support eSIM; Apple introduced eSIM in iPads around 2018 (with the iPad Pro 3rd gen, iPad Air 3, and iPad mini 5 cellular versions). So, yes — if you’re getting a cellular version of the Mini 7, it has eSIM capability.
