“I currently have an ipad Air (2012) and I have wifi and cellular through Verizon. Can I just transfer my old ipad to my new without going into Verizon location or do I have to have them do it? Thanks”

• did you buy the tablet unlock? if so you can just switch the sim card over and it should still work

• You should be able to pop out the old sim and place it in your new iPad without going to Verizon. However you may eventually want to update your sim since it’s pretty old.
