It is not hard and bulky - it is inbetween a hard and soft case. It is more rubber than a hard plastic case. I'd suggest this case plus the screen protector if you drop it often.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've never seen an otterbox. The Apple silicone case is a good case for the money. However, I am careful with my phone. My niece drops her phone all the time and says Lifeproof(?) is the best (but expensive!).

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It’s very thin and doesn’t offer great drop protection. It’s a great case if you’re looking for grip and minimal bulk. Definitely not hard and sturdy.... I still give them 5 stars because of the grip and overall fit.
