“Is it possible to buy the phone without choosing a carrier? I am moving to Europe soon and I'll have to use a local carrier”

• I took my iPhone to the UK in 2019. I had to get a dual SIM card and my Carrier was TESCO. I had no problems. It could be different now that the UK is not part of the EU. You cannot be paying installments to a carrier in the States such as AT&T. I had to pay the phone off completely.

• It’s possible to buy it without a carrier by selecting it as an “unlocked” iPhone and as far as I know the only one selling them unlocked is from Apple directly… in store or online.
