• A:Answer Then you shouldn’t buy from the carrier that your not gonna use, it would make more sense known as common sense to purchase the phone from the carrier you plan on using

Q: QuestionWhy is there no option to buy an unlocked non tied to carrier iPhone? It's 2022, we should be past this. I don't want a $100+ monthly bill when I can have a $15 one instead.

• A:Answer If you are not interested in paying for your device, you are able to pay it off upfront. That said, new iPhones purchased from Best Buy must be purchased through a carrier plan. Unlocked iPhones in a new state are sold exclusively from Apple directly. Best Buy nor any third party retailer are able to sell iPhones unlocked.
