Q: Questionif I buy an iPhone 14PM in best buy in US in a single full payment, will the phone be unlocked for all other carriers ?, I have an Indian e sim which I need to be working while I'm in the US.

• A:Answer NO. Not if you purchase this specific SKU. Currently, we at best buy don't carry the Unlocked version of this device, only ones linked to a carrier. And paying it in full does not even assure you it will be unlocked. For a device to be unlocked, it needs to meet the carrier requirements and they vary depending on who you get the contract with. For T-Mobile, there's no way for you to unlock a device even if you paid it in full unless it's purchased directly through a TMOBILE corporate Store, so this may not be the right device for you. sorry.
