you can only use e-sim so no also with a locked phone you will not be able to use any other carrier that is not t mobile

Please try again later.they do not if you buy whatever iPhone you get will be locked to whatever carrier you choose and you cannot use another wifi plan. also in the us, the iPhone is esim only so you cannot use a pre-paid sim card in your phone. if you really want an unlocked phone then my advice would be to buy the phone from apple.com and wait a very long time for an unlocked apple device
