• If the phone is unlocked it does work with cricket. We had no issues. Just call cricket customer service aftet your purchase and they will help you connect it for free.

• Verizon usually works off cdma cellular service, where cricket mainly works off gsm. Some cell phones can work on both. It helps to know what type of service your provider has in order to make sure your device works on their network. I’ve had Verizon service that wouldn’t work in an area that had mostly AT&T (gsm) towers.
