C model is a basic where s you get a newest version of processor and Touch ID.

Primary difference between "S" and "C" models other than the color case is the fingerprint ID.

The 5s has a A7 chip versus the A6 in the 5C. The 5c is also a plastic case where as the 5s is aluminum and glass. The 5s also has a finger print scanner so that you can unlock your phone by touching the home button. Overall the 5s is a faster phone for the current IOS.

The 'C' model Apple iPhone has a plastic body, the 'S' model has a metal body. The performance is the same for both phones.

The difference between the s model and the C model is that the S model is slightly slimmer than the C model.
