Yes you can add to their plan if they have one that is expandable for a new line, check with at&t about that. AT&T/best buy currently has a buy one get one free promotion, only catch is one of the phones has to go on a new line of service (added to a plan as a new line) which inyour case would be perfect and your parents can upgrade one of their phones and y’all can split the cost of the BOGO phones or something.
