The one I bought had a Verizon sticker on the box that said Verizon had subsidized the phone and the customer had to spend $150 before it could be changed to a post pay account. I took the phone to a Verizon corporate store and was told the same thing. Then I called Verizon direct to see if they would transfer to my post pay and they wouldn't. I returned the phone to Best Buy.
