• If you already own an iPhone, perform a manual back-up, then restore the new phone from the fresh back up. All of your apps, settings, messages, etc will transfer to the new device. Did this on my wife's iPhone 5c to iPhone 7 upgrade. Took 15 minutes, and worked perfect.

• I am not sure. You may want to call the Apple Store and ask. You should be able to go to your carriers store or Best Buy and have you gem help you as well.
