A:AnswerIt is supposed to be. I bought two at the same time. One was unlocked and one is locked. Now I have spent the last 4 hours on the phone attempting to learn who the phone is locked with (what carrier) and after finding that out trying to get it unlocked. Verizon says Best Buy must contact them, Best Buy said I need to contact Verizon. Happy birthday daughter, your first phone is unusable (what I get to tell her if I can’t get it unlocked soon today).
