It’s better than the bumper case with one exception, the bottom edge is open. The corners are not, but the port area is. It looks great and keeps the iPhone Air thin and light. I’d rather have this than the bumper case for that reason alone. It doesn’t add bulk, showcases the iPhone Air, and adds a bit more protection than the bumper case.

It’s a very thin case and yes it protects all sides but the bottom charging port.
