It will also notify you if your wallet is detached from your phone for more than a minute. Finally, you can put the wallet into lost mode and add an email address or phone number that will display on the phone of whoever finds the wallet. Assuming it is a Good Samaritan with the right intentions, they would be able to contact you to return the wallet.
This wallet however does not have the same capabilities as something like an AirTag. If the wallet moves after it is detached from your phone, the location displayed on Find My could be useless.
