• A:Answer I believe there would be an activation fee if you were in need of using the new SIM card that comes with the phone. However if you have a SIM card in a phone your using already with att then you should be able to just pop in your SIM card when you get it and it should work. That’s what I did and I have Cricket which is owned by att

• A:Answer Hello It’s nothing a fancy sales tactics just like buying a car to a dealer you are still paying 399.99. 349.99 if you have a provider and let them activate for you same thing. Hope to help.

• A:Answer I chose other for carrier as I wasn’t sure if I chose AT&T would affect my ability to use the phone (att owns cricket) and was able to pop my cricket SIM card into it when I received it and everything has worked fine since!
