    Casreay portable AC

    I just purchased this and it's truly worth every penny it cools down my apartment quickly with no hesitation,I put it on and in 10 mins my place it's cool and comfortable...the install was fast and easy ..

    Relief from the heat.

    I bought this unit because my Ac went out and needed some relief until I can figure out cost of replacing the house unit. I live in Fl and the heat this year has been so bad well into the 100s. I have a townhouse and the heat rises and so I bought this and works. Sometimes it works to good but setup was fairly easy . I would suggest you get some type of sealing strips of foam or tape to get good seal on the window. And the exhaust tube does get warm and the unit does have a dehumidifier but haven’t used it yet. But Ac work great goes down to 61 or 62. Has to fan speeds the second fan speed is a little loud but not a dealbreaker I think. I have this in my bedroom and cools the rooms. I would think if you have this in a small room or office. Does have wheels as well so you can move it but it has to stay near a window because of the exhaust tube.

    A great purchase!!

    Easy to use!!! We’ve only had it a month, but have used it in the summer heat in our bedroom, living room, and while camping. It will freeze you out if you let it! We love it and recommend it to others!

  • How close to the window does the unit need to be, how long is the exhaust hose?

    The hose is a good length. We have our unit right beside the window and we still have plenty of hose that could be used for another foot or so farther.

  • Does this have a water reservoir? If yes, how often does it need to be emptied? If you use a container to collect the water from the hose, what size?

    I have used this portable now going on the 2nd month and I have yet to need to empty any water. The first night we turned it on the next morning we had about a gallon. As I think we had the wrong setting on. After that we have the hose in a large portable type container and never worry about the over flow as no water has yet to be exited.
