“I just pre ordered the iPhone X at 2:00 am central time. I chose to pick up in store. It said available to pick up on Nov 3rd. How reliable is that? Will Best Buy have it ready for me to pick up on the 3rd? Or should’ve picked for it to be shipped?”

They served all the reservations on time with respectfully & they were priorities over walk-ins based on their pick up time.

My store told me that they personally call all the preorders to schedule an appointment time to come in and get it set up. That makes total sense cause just imagine if 100 preorders showed up to pick their phone up at the same time. You would be waiting hours and hours.

However, had you had it shipped to your house, it comes by Fed Ex and would have been there more than likely before the local store opens. I've always had it delivered to home and it comes the promised release day and it is always before noon in CT. I will have my iPhone X this Friday before noon and I won't have to deal with traffic or lines at Best Buy.
