“Why does the Best Buy site say for ATT you can only buy the XR if adding a new line. I only want to repace the older IPhone 6. If this is true I’ll just go directly to ATT.”

• This new line is for the buy one get one offer. You can always just buy the phone outright or through the next plan.

• Because the iphone 6’s and 7’s are basically obselete. The 6’s will stop receiving updates very soon and the 7’s I believe next year. So the XR is the only phone technically thats worth purchasing.
