Not sure what the price would be but you can always take your phone to the retailer that you have service with and they will give you a trade in price depending on the condition of the phone

Most phones on an installment plan are to buy the phone outright to unlock and take to other carriers, so you may want to check if your phone is an upgrade (which usually there’s a fee for remaining months to change) or you’re phone is paid off and can get another phone under same installment plan by which you can keep your 8 as a backup if paid off or Best Buy has a trade in program that offers a gift card you can use toward a new device.
