• No you cannot turn off battery case. It uses case battery first then the phone battery.

• No you cannot choose. Case will charge phone till it is dead.

• The case battery is used up completely before the phone battery depletes

• No case battery will be used first and then phone battery. No way to customize. There are regular buttons on the case that are complementary to the iPhone.
