• You should be able to use an iPhone case to fit this. We did. Many cases are the same size.

• No, the cases between the ipod and iphone have different dimensions specifically their width and length. The phones will be slightly thicker due to them having more components and features. The ipod will always be thinner, making the phone cases not ideal in protecting or covering.
