There’s another piece you need to look for it’s a Lightening to Aux adapter this product is a Lightening to Hdmi adapter

I would recommend using the AUKEY Bluetooth Receiver V4.1 Wireless Audio Music Adapter A2DP for that. This adapter will carry digital audio via HDMI but you need a receiver with an available HDMI input.
