“I used this to set my IPhone 8+ up to a projector. When trying to use Netflix it projects the picture but there is no sound. With any other type of video like videos from my phone, YouTube, and Hulu it works both picture and sound. How can I fix this?”

Try unplugging the adapter and plug it again it worked for me.

I didn’t have this problem, but is your volume on tv or app on mute ? I would restart the cell or unplug the adapter and plug again.

I have used my bluetooth connection of my iPad to a bluetooth speaker successfully while using my portable device with my Epson projector. I would expect you could replicate that setup since the devices are similar.
