Yes, it works with that iPad. You’ll have to check your receipt for return timeframe. All depends on what level Best Buy member you are since each tier allows different return windows.

Yes you can use this with new or old iPads, iPods, iPhones as well. The problem is some apps don’t allow this use so directv doesn’t work but you could use for movies or maybe another cable provider
