“I have a Pyle Amp attached to Passive speakers that has a 3.5mm Aux-In on front to attach a cd player or media player(ipod, etc.) I am wondering if this would work to stream music from my Iphone. It looks like this is just an adapter is that correct?”

Yes, it’s just an adaptor. I see no reason why it wouldn’t work how you want since it’s the same as hooking up earphones, mic, etc
