The issue is the iPhone 7 no longer has a headphone jack. So if you want to use your old headphones you need this.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is for connecting headphones to a newer iPhone. They did away with headphone port to make them less likely to be damaged from water intrusion. This plugs in the charging port and allows you to still use your old corded headphones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have extra apple earphones (still excellent quality) from older iphones, and older laptops... that took the 3.5 mm audio jack (little roundish plug) for AUDIO. I bought the above adapter in order to plug some old earphones into the little audio jack...then connect into the "Lightning USB plug" for AUDIO (above) on my iphone X. It worked. Hope that helps.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This allows you to use the old iPhone headphones with the new iPhone XR and XS phones. They no longer have the headphone plug in. The new headphones plug in through the lightening port. This is an adapter that allows the old headphones to be used with the new phones.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Iphone 7&7 plus have no headphone jack. So this enables you to use your headphones on the iPhone 7 and 7+ using lightning port.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.iPhone 7 requires this to hook to your old headphone, because the headphone jack is no longer used in the 7. It works really well, though.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's just a move apple made to change from an auxiliary port to a proprietary piece that we will all have to buy if we still want to use our headphones witb auxiallary connections. Almost everything is Bluetooth enabled now so it really makes no difference.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's a phone charging cable
