I am able to use this great MacBook for writing papers, reading my emails, surfing the web and photo editing. I definitely think that the M3 is quicker than its predecessor. There has been no lag and you can multitask easily. If you decide to buy it from Best Buy there are student discounts available and you should ask them to price match for you, I saved $100. This MacBook is also portable enough to carry anywhere. Enjoy!
