“I see that so many people recently used the $125 student discount on this laptop. I was told when I tried to use this discount at the store that it could only be applied to the newest model MACs and this is the 2016 model. How is everyone getting this?”

I used the $350 discount on the older model instead of $125 student discount. I purchased one 3 years ago which still runs perfectly. So, I think the store discount on older model is better deal.
