I want to clear up the student rebate question. I ordered my granddaughter a MacAir yesterday. My granddaughter is in 5th grade; so elementary school.. BEFORE I placed the order, I went to the Best Buy link for student deals: Here's the link: https://www.bestbuy.com/site/misc/back-to-school/pcmcat334100050000.c?id=pcmcat334100050000. Choose which coupon that would relate to your purchase. I chose the $125 MacBook one. There were only about 4 questions to answer and it did NOT ask for a student ID, which is good because my granddaughter's school does not use them. It gave me a coupon code to use when I got to the payment screen. It IMMEDIATELY gave me the $125 discount on my purchase; no waiting for a rebate. I hope this information helps clear up some of the questions regarding the student rebate/discount. In regards to the Office 365, my Live Chat with BB rep clarified that it is a 1-year "subscription". I personally feel it would be less expensive to just buy Office Student edition instead of renewing the subscription every year.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Both of my kids are in college and get Office 365 for free. They use their college email addresses. I'm not sure how grad school students qualify for the discount.
