“Lets say i choose to do monthly payments for the lap top? When would i get the lap top? When i make my first payment, halfway through my payments, or when my payments are complete and the computer is fully paid off?”

I got this laptop the same day I got my Best Buy credit card. I had to wait about a week to receive it only because it wasn’t available at my nearest store location and it had to be ordered online to be shipped to my house. I made my first payment about a week after receiving it.
