(For some reason, the printer does not stay on after being turned on, and must be manually restarted when the computer is on. This is a change from when we first bought the printer. Now therein is found a question -- two actually; why does the printer not automatically come on when the computer is on AND why, after being turned on manually, does it quit?)

• A:Answer No, it does not. Apple took away all of the ports and it only two ports - USB-C ports. And, a traditional headphone port, which is hilarious, because Apple doesn't even sell headphones with traditional plugs, so users will have to buy an adapter. This laptop does not seem well-executed as they've taken away certain features that were standard on the air model and replaced them with something else. You will need an adapter to plug/play a dvd/cd drive. Sorry.
