I am not sure what the keyboard is called, but I think I know what you're talking about. The keyboard is not touchscreen by the screen part of the laptop. It has normal keys like the rest of the keyboard. The only difference is the Fingerprint sensor like an iPhone S in the top right part of the keyboard.
