• The older one has non Retina display kinda fast no Touch ID one color The new MacBook Air has new colors and it’s faster and have Touch ID and have wonderful retina displays it’s all glass screen

• From my knowledge, the design is definitely better and more modern, it's lighter and thinner (not that much). More modern processor so it should run better. Other than that, not that much. So if you want a modern mackbook air, this is it. Otherwise if you want to save money and use a macbook air for web browsing and not care much about the looks, then get the older mackbook air.

• The 2018 MacBook Air does not have True Tone technology like the 2019 model. This allows the MacBook Air to adjust the color and brightness depending on the environment such as natural or artificial light.
