The computer does not come with virus ware such as Norton, but it has built-in features to help prevent it, such as popup blockers warning you if you want to proceed or not,

it depends, you can get security coverage by apple, or by best buy. the insurances range from 50-200 dollars depending on how much coverage you'd like (such as theft or only manufacturing issues). the device itself does not have any antivirus protectors and you would have to install one yourself, inbuilt features include a finger print id and password to access the laptop.
