- Answer hey fellow college student here! I use this model for a lot of writing and photo editing as well as podcast recording and editing and it’s been more than capable in terms of memory but my only regret is not getting more storage so i bought an external hard drive.

- Answer Turn the MacBook over and the model number is displayed at the bottom, maybe have a magnifying glass since it is in small lettering. Or click the apple icon (top left corner) select about, and it will display your mac information, then select advanced for additional information on all the hardware installed.
