- Answer Turn the MacBook over and the model number is displayed at the bottom, maybe have a magnifying glass since it is in small lettering. Or click the apple icon (top left corner) select about, and it will display your mac information, then select advanced for additional information on all the hardware installed.

- Answer Honestly I use the M2 for college and I used the 2020 pro m1 for HS and I would say they are the same as far as workload in my experience

- Answer The M2 macbook air was released mid 2022. Apple still produces them as of mid 2024 and I would think at least until mid 2025

- Answer Long Answer: I work in the medical field and my girlfriend is a nurse practitioner. When we met she was a nurse and had a MacBook Air and loved it. When she became a NP she upgraded to the MacBook Pro and doesn't love it. The air being much lighter and her being a smaller human (5'4", 130) was a much better fit. I also have an iPad Pro that is actually that is almost as heavy as the MacBook Air when you add the keyboard. Short Answer: yes, it's worth it. Most Macbooks last at least 5-7 years and have great functionality for the price.
