If your goals with this computer is to do listen to music, movies, typing, and occasional web surfing, this computer is great. It can do all of that, and manage a decent amount of creative work. Unless you are doing something detailed in 3D or rendering 4k videos, this computer sounds like it would be a good option for you. Hope this helps, Max
