• I think every macbook computers have built in trickle charging. Meaning it will stop charging when its full.

• Hi, not sure what you mean by disconnecting, but I've been using a USB-C cable in the USB-C slot to charge mine. I haven't even used the MagSafe cable yet. Hope you find a solution.

• Disconnecting from where? If it's the magnetic connection, it's designed to disconnect if there's any pressure on it so the connection won't be damaged. I've not had any issue other than the design itself. Usually, it's my fault because of the strain on the connection.
