Could the SSD and RAM be upgraded by me? null

You may be able to upgrade the SSD to something larger but the RAM cannot be upgraded past the 8GB. The Ram is soldered to the board. I wish I had known this when I ordered mine as I would have looked for something with more RAM in it. That said, this is a nice machine and 8GB only becomes a limitation if you are running newer games that require more power to them.
