“It says that this laptop only has Dual Core and not Quad Core. I thought that all the newest 15.4 inch MacBooks have Quad Core. Is it actually dual core or a typo?”

• It's quad core. I bought mine for that particular reason

• I went to About This Mac and under 'System Information' it says "Total Number of Cores: 4"
