What does open boxed mean ? null

I purchased my MacBook Pro as an open boxed item. It was the demo that they had on the showroom floor. It only came with the power adapter, and no paperwork. It had a small dent on the cover where the security tag was. Other than that works great. You can save quite a bit of money by buying an open boxed item. Just make sure you use it right away and take it back if you notice any problems.

Someone opened the original box after purchasing and returned the product to the store!
