The MacBook Pro16 with the m3 Pro chip can support up to Three Monitors On its own.

One display at 4K (240Hz) over HDMI. Two displays at 6K (60Hz) over Thunderbolt. One display at 6K (60Hz) over Thunderbolt and one display at 4K (144Hz) over HDMI. If you want three or four external monitors, you'll need an M3 Max machine.

Please try again later.MacBook Pro models introduced in 2023 or later with the M2 Max or M3 Max chip support up to four external displays simultaneously, based on the resolution (up to 8K) and refresh rate (up to 240Hz) of each external display. You can have three displays running through the Thunderbolt/USB-C ports, and a fourth through HDMI. However, the available resolution depends on the ports, monitor resolution and refresh rate, and number of displays. Apple's site will have the specifics.
