This model is from Late 2012. There has not been another "MacBook Pro" since then. It was replaced in early 2013 by the rMBP, or Macbook Pro with Retina Display. The difference with the newer one is more RAM (run more at once), better display (more pixels, better colors, better contrast), and Solid State Drives (faster, no moving components, more reliable, won't break from a drop). Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Mine is a mid-2012 model. Newer models have SSD (solid state drives) that tend to have lower capacity due to their expense. Mine has a conventional 500GB HD, but these can be augmented either with a larger internal drive or a supplemental external drive (cheapest are USB).
