YES...but you'll probably never actually use it. Hindsight being 20/20, I would have gotten a Macbook Air instead. This thing feels like a ton of bricks after a while

The Macbook Pro has a cd drive, while the Air does not. The Air is so light and thin that there is no room for a cd drive. The air does still have USB ports though.

No. No modern laptops have disc drives. You have thinner devices that have longer lasting batteries without CD drives. If you need one you can buy a usb superdrive or other external disc drive.
