• If you’ve used the Smart Keyboard Folio, this is actually more secure that that. It has a solid magnetic connection that keeps the iPad securely connected. You are correct that this does not cover the edges of the iPad.

• the edge protection is not the best if it falls on the edge you might be in trouble its really not a case made for protection from drops
