• I say you still need to purchase a case, as the magic keyboard doesn’t protect the corners of your ipad pro very well.

• It will not; I returned mine because of that. It is an excellent add-on to make the iPad closer to a desktop replacement, even at $300, I thought. I had to switch to a Logitech case to get something that would allow me both to use a keyboard and to have a protective case. Super neat device. But zero field application.

• Depending on how rough you tend to be, you might still want to look into getting an actual case. This only offers basic protection of the back and screen. There are cases that can still work with this keyboard cover, but the best options are few and far between…
