Yes. Your computer came with the 60 watt version, but the 85 watt will also work. The determining factor when choosing a charger is the MagSafe vs MagSafe 2 connector. MagSafe 2 is thinner and would require an adaptor for this charger to work, but the MagSafe 2 connector was not introduced until late 2012 in the MacBook Pro line.
