The easiest way to tell when you need to recharge it is by adding a widget to your home screen that has the battery levels to your iPhone as well as other things you have connected via Bluetooth such as your Apple Watch AirPods and when connected your battery pack if you don’t wanna do that way you can do is if you have iOS 14.7.1 or newer when you connected there would be there’s animation where it shows the battery percentage of your iPhone and under that the battery level of the battery pack as shown in the picture :)

If you don’t have the battery status as a widget on your Home Screen, then you can ask Siri about your battery status and she will specifically say what percentage your MagSafe battery pack is at. Pretty cool. Other devices not so sure.

It holds a charge for awhile so it’s ready to go when you need it. Another great feature is you can attach it to your phone and charge the battery pack buy plugging in the lighting cable.

If you want to charge both at the same time just plug your normal charger into the battery pack and go about your day. I wouldn’t recommend this purchases for the simple fact that it doesn’t stick to the phone
