It has to be a "MagSafe Compatible Case" because the case would have magnets built into it to hold the MagSafe Battery in place, but there are lots of "MagSafe Compatible Cases" out there.

These have a built-in metal ring to let the power pad through them more efficiently and keep the battery back attached.
